Roman Thermal Spas Map
The Roman Thermal Spas Map
The nine towns of the Roman Thermal Spas of Europe stretch right across the continent, from Greece and Bulgaria in the east to Portugal and France in the west. What unites them is a shared Roman heritage: wherever hot mineral springs broke the surface, the Romans built baths, temples and towns, and many of these places have remained spa destinations ever since.
Use the map to see how these thermal towns are spread across Europe and to plan your own journey between them. Each marker leads to a destination with its own history, landscape and bathing culture, yet all are linked by the same enduring love of thermal water.
Explore each destination in turn to discover its story, its springs and its spas, and let the map guide you to your next restful escape.
