About

Roman Thermal Spas of Europe is an EU co-funded project connecting nine historic thermal spa towns across Europe that share a common Roman bathing heritage stretching back over 2,000 years. The project brings together partners from Greece, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Portugal, France, Bulgaria, and Serbia to promote sustainable spa tourism, protect and celebrate Roman cultural heritage, and develop joint tourism products and itineraries. Through this collaboration, we aim to raise awareness of Europe’s extraordinary thermal spa legacy and invite travellers to explore these remarkable destinations and experience the living heritage of Roman bathing culture.
