ESPA – European Spas Association
Founded in 1995 in Brussels, ESPA is the umbrella organisation of the European spa industry. It represents national and regional spa associations, medical spas and health resorts across some twenty European countries, championing their interests at European level.

EuropeSpa med & wellness GmbH is the official certification body of ESPA. It develops and audits Europe’s quality standards for medical spa and wellness facilities — covering service, safety, hygiene and infrastructure — the only Europe-wide certification system of its kind.

A German tour operator founded in 1975 and a pioneer of health and wellness travel. Fit Reisen offers thousands of spa, cure and wellness programmes across hundreds of hotels worldwide, connecting guests with trusted destinations — including the Roman Thermal Spas.
